Who we are
Two companies united by one belief
In order to continue this trajectory of success, 20 Steps and IFP have decided to join forces and offer the international community the boutique quality of production service in Georgia for commercial content, music videos, feature and documentary films.
Our achievements have given us the ambition to set our goals higher than any other company in the region, and have provided us with the opportunity to speak the international industrial language that is demanded by leading production companies.
Our team
Vladimer Katcharava and Vladimer Chikhradze have provided services and co-productions for companies from various countries including the UK, France, Germany, Russia, Netherlands, Philippines, and the USA. Their projects have been screened at major film festivals such as Cannes, Berlinale, Toronto, Venice, and others.
Vladimir Katcharava is also participant of Sundance Script Lab, Cannes Film Festival Producers on the Move, EAVE, East European Film Alliance.
Archil Gelovani from the Independent Film Project has played a crucial role in the development of the Georgian cinema industry being a CEO of Georgian State Studio “Georgia Film” in 2005. With his background in business, he brings a wealth of successful experience in managing companies to our team. He produced award-winning Georgian and international co-productions that were shown at Cannes, Rotterdam, Edinburgh among others. Archil is EAVE workshop participant and memeber of European Film Academy.
Sergey Yakhontov has more then 17 years of experience in production worldwide. The projects he produced were shown at IDFA, Venice, Rotterdam, TATE Modern among others. He also produced numerous commercials and worked as a production manager on US studio projects such as “Jack Ryan. Shadow recruit”, “Fast and furious”, “Anna Karenina” and more.

Tax Rebate
Georgian government offers up to 20% cash rebate qualified costs to audiovisual productions filming in the country. The incentive is given in the form of a rebate on qualified expenses incurred in Georgia.
An additional rebate of up to 5% is available if a production promotes Georgia as a destination.
